  • The Bluenose was Canada’s fastest ship
  • Launched on April 26 1921 from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia
  • She won the International Fishermen’s Trophy for straight four years
  • Sold in 1942 she was used to ferry freight in the Caribbean where she perished on a reef off Haiti
  • Canada's fastest ship forever remembered on the Canadian Dime
